Rudrabhishek (1 Shastri)

This Rudrabhishek is performed by one priest (Shastri) only. In this ritual the Lingam is washed with the water which must constantly keep falling on the Lingam through a vessel amid consistent chanting of Vedic mantra called the Rudra Sookt. The ritual comprises Lakshmi Ganesh Puja and is followed by decoration of the deity with lotus flowers, rose and green Bel leaves. Rudrabhishek is considered to bring wealth, harmony and strength to deal with adversities, and removes negative energy besides protecting from evil forces.
